1. About Krietas

Krietas is an influencer marketing platform that connects verified creators with verified brands. We provide tools for discovery, briefing, applications, messaging, deliverable review, and payments held in escrow until work is approved.

Krietas is not a party to the collaboration agreement between a creator and a brand. We provide the platform and payment infrastructure that makes those collaborations safer.

2. Accounts and eligibility

To use Krietas you must:

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Provide accurate information during registration and verification.
• Maintain one account per person or organisation — duplicate accounts may be suspended.
• Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

3. Verification

Every creator and brand must complete identity or business verification before transacting. We may refuse, suspend or revoke verification if information is false, misleading, or if an account violates these terms.

4. Campaigns and collaborations

Brands are responsible for accurate campaign briefs, lawful requirements, and timely review of deliverables. Creators are responsible for original content, meeting brief requirements, and disclosing paid partnerships as required by law and platform policies.

Either party may decline to work with the other, but may not discriminate on protected grounds.

5. Payments, escrow and fees

Campaign funds are held in escrow and released to the creator when deliverables are approved, in line with the flow shown at checkout. Withdrawals are paid out in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) via mobile money or bank transfer.

We charge the service fees displayed before you confirm a transaction. Payment providers may apply their own charges, which are shown before you pay or withdraw.

6. Content ownership and licence

Creators retain ownership of the content they create unless a campaign brief and agreement state otherwise. Brands receive the usage rights agreed in the campaign brief.

You grant Krietas a limited licence to display your content and profile on the platform for the purpose of operating the service.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Misrepresent your identity, audience size, engagement, or verification status.
• Use bots, purchased followers, or fake engagement.
• Submit content that is unlawful, hateful, explicit, or infringes others' rights.
• Circumvent escrow by taking payments off-platform for campaigns sourced here.
• Interfere with the platform's operation or other users' experience.

8. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, fail verification, or create risk for other users. Funds in escrow for affected campaigns are handled according to the escrow flow — released for approved work, otherwise returned to the brand.

You may close your account anytime from settings; amounts already payable to you will still be paid out.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The platform is provided "as is". While verification and escrow reduce risk, we do not guarantee campaign outcomes, content performance, or continued availability of any feature. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for claims relating to the platform is limited to the fees you paid to us in the six months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated in advance through the platform or email, and continuing to use Krietas after that constitutes acceptance.
