Research privacy policy
We regularly talk to creators and brands to make Krietas better. This policy explains how data from research sessions is handled.
Last updated: August 2026
1. What we collect
During research — interviews, surveys and usability sessions — we may collect your name, contact details, recordings (with your consent) and your feedback about the platform.
2. How it's used
Research data is used to improve Krietas: shaping features, fixing pain points and understanding the needs of East Africa's creator economy. Findings are reported in aggregate; individual quotes are only shared internally or with your explicit permission.
3. Consent
Participation in research is always voluntary. We ask for consent before recording any session, and you can withdraw at any point without affecting your account.
4. Retention
Recordings and notes are kept only as long as they remain useful for product decisions, typically no longer than 24 months, after which they're deleted.
5. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your research data at any time by contacting our team through the platform.
