Intellectual property
Creators own what they make. Brands own what they build. This page explains how intellectual property works on Krietas.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Creator content
Creators retain ownership of the content they create. When a deliverable is approved, the brand receives the usage rights defined in the campaign brief — nothing more, unless separately agreed.
Brands must not repurpose creator content beyond agreed usage rights without the creator's permission.
2. Brand materials
Brands keep ownership of their trademarks, products and briefs. Creators are granted a limited licence to use brand materials solely to deliver the agreed campaign.
3. The Krietas platform
The Krietas name, logo, interface and underlying software are owned by Krietas and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or reuse them without written permission.
4. Reporting infringement
If you believe content on Krietas infringes your rights, send a notice through our contact form with the subject 'IP Report' including:
- A description of the work you own.
- The URL or location of the allegedly infringing content.
- Your contact details.
- A statement of good-faith belief and authority to act.
5. Repeat infringement
Accounts that repeatedly infringe others' intellectual property are suspended or removed from the platform.
